I have severe COPD. On continuous O2. To do the simplest things I need 6- 8 liters and with that can only do things in short burst having to rest every several minutes to catch my breathe. I wake up feeling depressed with the fighting to breathe all the time. I am on maximum inhalers. Does any-one out there know of anything else that may help. I think otherwise I am close to end stage COPD and tha...

The Doc wanted me to do it three times a day and I haven't even been able to tolerate it more then once. All kinds of weird symptoms but not sure if they are "normal". If you have used this devise or one similar, I think mine is an Acapella did you experience any side effects? ...

I'm on nighttime O2. Despite having an inline water trap, nothing I do seems to prevent moisture from condensing in the O2 line connected to my concentrator. It happens around 4AM. After several week's of experimentation, I've decided that it is because I keep my bedroom really cool; at at about 4AM, the temp gets down to about 50 degrees F. Because the concentrator is in a warmer room...

I am new to this.  When I was a teen in Illinois, I had the flu one time that didn't heal fully.  Being a farmer back then, I didn't think anything about running out of breath.  I joined the military in '85.  Went through physical, got sworn in, and then sent to basic training.  Seemed like I was in and out of the Dr's office more than I was training. ...

Hello.  I joined the group today.  My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer a month ago.  So far it has spread to his lymph nodes and adrenal glands.  He started chemo last week and is just now today feeling better.  I've heard different things from people.  My question is how long does the nausea last after a treatment.  Is it a few days or is it lo...
